Merit is earned by fighting battles in the Tourney or Campaign. In the Campaign, the battle must also be won to earn any Merit. In the Tourney, losing a battle will still yield a reduced amount. Merit can be spent at the Shop, mostly on the books needed to level up the skills of NPCs. Merit can also be rewarded by Spins.
